The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet defined quality standards throughout the production process. This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies. The technician is also responsible for accurate documentation and supporting the release, rejection, or quarantine of materials based on inspection results.

• Competent in the use of measuring tools (calipers, rulers, gauges) to perform in-process and final product inspections.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Experience in quality control, production, or manufacturing environments ai an asset.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams.
• Organizational skills: Efficiently manage paperwork, inspection checklists, and reports.

• Ensures quality of the product.
• Complete required documentation.
• Follows GMP and SOPs in all steps.
• Ensures that all relevant SOPs are being implemented.
• Reports to QC Supervisor in case of any problems found in product or on floor.
• Checks line clearance at the start and at the end of the work orders.
• Performs in-process testing of the products as per as per specs.
• Checks balances each week. Calibrates when necessary and documents the results.
• Checks products and materials as per specs. Makes necessary documentations and forward them to QA for Disposition (Release, Reject, On-Hold, Quarantine) of Packaging Materials.
• Monitors the premises and equipment cleaning. Supervise the cleaning and sanitation. Makes necessary documentations.
• Controls all received materials for production.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
