Lernapharm a reçu le soutien de DESTL (Développement Économique Saint-Laurent) pour l'obtention des permis nécessaires à l'agrandissement de son bâtiment.

L'entreprise pharmaceutique, qui bénéficiera du PR@M-Industrie, a investi plus de 3,5 M$ dans ces travaux. Ces derniers lui permettront d’accroître sa production et d’embaucher 35 nouveaux employés.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – (December 4, 2009) Lernapharm celebrated the completion of its major expansion project in the presence of many dignitaries, friends and colleagues.

During the preliminary reception, a presentation of the company’s history and future outlook was given by the Operations Manager, Viken Afarian. Following the presentation, guests were guided through Lernapharm’s 22 000 square foot clean rooms, its new manufacturing lines, the mixing room, the water treatment facility, as well as, the chemistry and microbiology laboratories.

At the end of the tour, the guests were joined by Lernapharm employees to listen to the President, Razmik Margoosian, who conveyed his genuine appreciation of his employees, his business partners and the levels of government who have been supportive of the company’s endeavors throughout the years.

Following Mr. Margoosian, the Hon Stephan Dion, Member of Parliament for St-Laurent & Cartier-Ville., M. Alain de Sousa, mayor of the borough of St-Laurent and member of the executive committee of the city of Montreal. M. Agop Everekian, Chief of Staff for the Honorable Jason Kenny, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and Multiculturalism expressed their appreciation of Lernapharm’s current and future projects and its contributions to today’s economy and the creation of employment.

After the event Mr. Razmik Margoosian said "my wife Arminee joins me in expressing our joy in the accomplishments of the Lernapharm team and look forward to the further expansion and building upon our solid foundation".

Depuis quelques années, Lernapharm a investi des sommes importantes pour créer une toute nouvelle gamme de produits désinfectants écologiques et biodégradables destinée au milieu de la santé. Le grand défi qu'il fallait relever : le produit devait être capable de tuer la bactérie C. difficile, qui a fait tant de ravages dans les hôpitaux.

La solution, l'entreprise l'a trouvée dans deux ingrédients actifs : l'huile de melaleuca et l'huile de clou de girofle. Lernapharm, fondée en 2000, compte 30 employés. Ses produits sont distribués partout dans le monde.
